Originally purchased In October 2021 because I wanted a backup travel tripod. Since I already have a vanguard flip lock travel tripod that I was happy with, I bought another Vanguard. They did not offer a flip lock version of the tripod I wanted, so I reluctantly went with a twist lock. After no more than 3 uses, one of the legs fell off. I could not get it back on where it would stay. It simply would fall back off. I contacted Vanguard warranty online and they responded within 24 hours. They asked me to return the tripod to their warranty center at my expense. Once it was received there they simply replaced the tripod with a new one within a week. I'll have to see whether the replacement will provide the expected service but I'm giving Vanguard's warranty service kudos for the prompt service.

It would be worth it to spend the extra $100 on something else. I have what I thought were normal-sized hands- don't bother trying to put on or remove the plate without a tool. You'll need needle nose pliers to take the plate on and off every time.The legs are annoying. they don't lock and swing like crazy if you pick up the tripod. It is a two-hand job every time. Sometimes you don't have the time or hands for that. Wish I went a price point higher.Other than that- it has been serviceable.
