I've been using the Avery 5160. Is this 5260 a substitute that will work just as well?

Yes, I always used the 5160 and ordered these by mistake. They work just the same.

Oops, in a rush to buy I overlooked these are just for laser printers. Would they work for inkjet as well or should I return & get another kind?

Hi Bethany, after talking this matter with my office people, they said that although laser labels print with inkjet printers, they take a little longer to dry properly, so you must be careful not to rub them right after printing.What you cannot do is print "inject labels only" with a laser printer. All in all, my opinion now after talking to my crew is, and I apologize for that, if you can still exchange them, do it.

does this come with software?

There are many types , actually a few that may come with software. This particular labels do not but the outcome of work this gives you on working with them are GREAT!
