There are ERRORS in this workbook, DO NOT BUY IT
DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. USE THE OFFICIAL PREP INSTEAD. I bought this book thinking it would help with MCAT prep. There is NOTHING here that free resources do not cover, and there are also ERRORS in this textbook. They also do not use the same phrasing/wording that the AAMC resources have. The questions are more difficult AND the answers are wrong anyway. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK, USE AAMC MATERIAL INSTEAD.

Good for perfunctory study
This review book covers the content material in a perfunctory manner -- you touch on most of the main points for content review, but if you're looking for a thorough review of high-yield material, it's not the best source. There are practice passages which are fairly helpful, although much of the book is dedicated to Kaplan's strategies for each section. Indeed, the value of this book is in whether you can benefit from the Kaplan test-taking strategies: Depending on whether you're comfortable with your general test-taking skills, this may or may not be helpful; there are some tips that are pretty useful but truthfully, a lot of the rest of it (eg writing a shorthand summary after ever CARS paragraph) seems like a one-size-fits-all approach to a test that you should definitely have your own tailored approach to, through a lot of individual practice. Overall, this book can be used for a very surface-level summary of the material before you dive into the content review more thoroughly, or for a brief overview of the material after you've already done your studying. If you're looking for thorough content review, this probably isn't the best review book for you.
