Swami Vivekananda on Himself

The most powerful writer I have read in my life.
"He whose joy is only in himself, whose desires are only in himself, he has learnt his lessons." This is the great lesson that we are here to learn through myriads of births and heavens and hells- that there is nothing to be asked for, desired for, beyond one's self.Oh man! What have I done in my life so far? How come I have not read this man. Swami Vivekananda is not a writer, he is a force that speaks to the most primal and most advance emotions in a man at the same time, and help him see in himself what he potentially can become. He is the most powerful writer I have read in my LIFE. Yes, you read it. In my life. I have never read words that are so alive.

Classic Vivekananda
If you admire the writings of Swami Vivekananda, you will love this collection of sayings and quotes. It covers different aspects of his life. In particular, the last chapter, when Vivekananda writes his final thoughts on life are really quite remarkable. It is like in those last two years, the veil slowly dropped and Vivekananda sees through the mask of this world, and writes with a deep conviction on the underlying spiritual force operating in the world.

Read with open mind and think of those times, how he lived and tried to prove the richness of india in all aspects of life. He was open to good in all religions and never criticised any religion
