Paolo Coehlo is always a good idea

I loved this book. I know it is not for everyone. I have seen many negative reviews. And I understand this books talks more about spirituality than the actual story, and in between it gets a little boring, but for me many pages made me cry, made me think, inspired me as well. It was a beautiful experience, reading this one, it made me question a lot my beliefs and my values. I am glad I read this book.

The Zahir is an amazing book written by Paulo Coelho this brilliant thought provoking book helps readers to think and discover their true self.The story is of a renowned and rich author who one day discovers that his wife Esther who is a war correspondent has disappeared without leaving any trace of her. Was she kidnapped, blackmailed or was she simply bored with their marriage and wanted to leave. His obsession to find her sets him in this journey where he finds Mikhail a young man on a spiritual mission who was also close to Esther. Mikhail acts as his guide on this journey which leads him to Central Asia and as they advance the renowned author realises that this quest for his wife has also set him on a path to find his true self. He realises that this journey has led him into a new understanding of love, the power of destiny and what it ment to follow one's heart. Will he be able to find his wife and more importantly will he find himself? Read The Zahir by Paulo Coelho to find out.The Zahir is a truly brilliant book that leads the readers into this path of rediscovering oneself and as his other books this tries to explain complex philosophical topics is a very simple yet great was (this is my most favorite thing about Paulo's books). Also his writing style is just mesmerizing if feels as if the story is taking place inside you and you are all the characters in it. I would conclude by recommending this wonderful book to everyone and if you like reading good philosophical books or are a fan of Paulo then this is surely for you.
