I.like that it covers a large percentage of my daughters head, so brushing is faster that way. It has two sets of bristles unlike the regular size wet brushes. It has the regular bristles e see on the other wet brushes and it also has short bristles that look like a natural boar bristled brush. I took a pic of the bristles so you can see what I mean. My daughters hair is very long and thick and wavy and tends to get a lot of tangles and matts sometimes. I've only used this brush twice. Both times on dry hair. So far I've brushed through her hair at its best moments in half the amount of time as the regular wet brush and without having to use any detangler like I normally would need to. And at its worse moments where I have spent 1hr and a ton of detangler and other products, I think this brush would still get through in at least have the time particularly I think because it covers 3x the coverage ad the regular brushes do, however, as I mentioned her hair is very thick. I find I need to push the top layer aside to get all the tangles out from underneath. But not a huge issue. My daughter will usually hold the top of her head as well as drama complain with the regular brush, but hasn't done either so far with this one. 👍🏻I hope this helps. This is my fourth wet brush, I will never buy another kind of hair brush. My hair gets extremely tangled when wet and even with detangler an average brush pulls and splits it like crazy. The wet bush is so gentle and I love the mixed bristle and oil infusion of this one! I definitely notice the shine in my hair.

Not only is this brush cute but it’s functional. Wet brushes are great but for people with thick hair like me the bristles are a little flimsy. This one has nice sturdy bristles and boar bristles with it. Detangles well.

I find this doesn't help get out tangles in my hair at all. The inner smaller bristles (I assume where the oil is stored) snags my hair..lolBut once it's brushed out, it works.

Bought this for my teenage daughter and she has been loving it. She has hair down past her waist and it's incredibly thick. She has had a terrible time finding a brush that will actually brush her hair properly. BONUS: it somehow makes it smooth and soft too. MAGIC! Will likely be buying a second very soon.
