H2o Universal Outboard Kill Switch Keys with Lanyard (fits All Except Kawasaki)

It's fine
I looked for one locally but the Academy Sports was out. I found this one and its fine. I just snipped off the ones I don't need, it only takes a few seconds and a couple of snips on each unneeded key with side cutters . I don't like the plastic clip that you hook to yourself tho. I cut it off too and added two carabiners one small and one large. all said, I did the same for my one with a metal clip too. They all seem to be too difficult to attach quickly and easily. The only other complaint is just a preference issue: the coil is only a portion of the length. It seems to stretch ok tho, so, who knows, it may be an improvement with fewer things catching on the coils. I'm happy with it and would buy it again.

QUALITY
Needed new kill switch key for older Johnson/Evinrude outboard. Selected the right key, used wire cutters to cut off remaining unnecessary keys and BAM...Back in business! This appears to be high quality, have owned a few boats and the lanyard/keys appear to be the same materials as my previous Ski Nautique.Highly recommended, hope this helps.

Excellent
I have two boats now and one did not come with a kill switch key. I wasn't exactly sure what kind I needed so having this really helped where I could try them all. Not to mention I can just keep it in my truck so whatever boat I take I'll have the correct key. Very satisfied!

A little bulky
Works perfectly but a little bulky from the factory. I ended up grabbing a small saw to cut the other keys off since you can’t easily remove them. If they had the ability to easily remove the ones you don’t need it would get 5 stars.

If you ever decide to,leave your boat in a slip for a while, i suggest getting a spare, set like this, because I learned the hard way. Someone leftbtheirsninguess and decided I didn't need mine. Now I have one as a spare in the rv as well as remember to remove it when I'm leave my boat

Serves the intended purpose.
Came with many different clips for numerous engines. A little tough to cut the plastic to remove those you don't need, but doable with wire cutters. Flex cable is good quality.

Does the job
bought this for my Mercury kill switch, fits just fine. I use some pliers to open up the metal clip that crimps down the loop, removed the other keys and crimped it close, took 2 minutes.

Great
We have two Kawasaki jet skis and a ranger bass boat. We wanted spares just in case . These work just like the originals

Basic multi function kill cord
These aren't the highest quality kill cords, but they are safe and reasonably durable. The main issue we have is the plastic clips tend to break over time, however, as they are cheap and have lots of different attachments on that we can use for our different types of powerboat, and it's a cost effective way to replace them. That said, whereas with most product reviews I'd describe the clip breaking as a problem, I prefer this over some other types of kill cord where the cord itself deteriorates slowly, at least it's obvious when it's broken and needs to be changed from a safety point of view!

Covers all my various out boards.
Misplacing the kill cord is the bane of outboard use. This selection covers all eventualities.
