Cheap Plastic Entry Level
The big problems with this one (that the H4 doesn't have)-lightweight flimsy plastic construction (H4 is a sturdy piece of equipment)-no way to mount this onto anything. You'll have to just sit it on the ground or hold it, unless you fashion some kind of make-shift zip tie mounting monstrosity (H4 has mic stand mount, or optional hot shoe adapter)-only records at 16 bit / 44.1khz (H4 can record at 24 bit / 96khz)-only has XLR inputs (H4 has both XLR and TRS connectors)The only benefits I can see that this one has over the H4-can use up to 512gb SD cards (H4 can only use up to 32gb)-record call via cell phone directly into the device (the H4 description does not list this function, but I presume you can also bring in a call)So if you need something that is very light weight, and you need to make sure that you can loop in a cell phone call to your recording, and the extra 100 dollars for the H4 is a deal breaker, this might be the one for you. Otherwise, this is a very cheap imitation of a fully functional Zoom recorder. Note that I am using H4 as my example, but there are a couple of newer models.Honestly I regret purchasing this recorder. The other newer models are vastly superior and the price difference is saving a little money, but purchasing an inferior product.

Great product for the price
Great value, works well, light weight I just wish it felt sturdier but worth it as a portable recorder. Connecting it to the computer is really easy.

Box condition: terrible
"The purchased items were okay. However, the overall condition of the boxes in which the products came was lamentable. It seems like they went straight from the trash to the hotel. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. Obviously, I will never be able to resell the item due to the condition of the box and packaging. Terrible experience."

Fantastic for beginners and powerful for the price point
Great investment for entry level recording. You cannot beat the price for the quality and this little guy packs some serious power. My only complaint is that it does not come with a power cable. Mind you it connect through a USB-C cable which is standard these days, but having to purchase one separately is a bit of a bummer.

The rechargeable battery pack does not work.
The rechargeable battery pack does not work. I charged the batteries for at least 15 hours or more and the light never went off indicating a full charge.
