Easy to use and makes excellent cold brew. The only thing that's a bit of a pain is the stopper. It's easy to lose and thought of it failing makes me uneasy so I always brew on the carafe. The carafe is also quite thin and I imagine it will break easily. Fairly expensive for what it is but the results are excellent so worth the money.

Great product! Makes Starbucks Quality Nitro for Peanuts! i buy a bag of Trader Joe’s dark roast for $3.99 and get a bottle full of “Nitro” ! I had used a friends before and it took 24 hours to steep and 24 hours to drain. The one a purchased came with two or three filter bags so I tried them. Amazing results! It made the whole process so much less messy. It also made the draining process take less then five minutes! I love it! I’ve purchased filter bags and will be using them exclusively from now on! My only comment is, why didn’t it come with a cover? I’ve used a plate in the past to cover it to keep dust, bugs, etc. out. I decided to buy the cover, $9.99, and again it cuts down on the mess and looks a whole lot more professional!

My roommate and sibling happened to find this product and added it to my birthday list. With the quarantine and lockdown, I started making a LOT more cold brew (being unable to go to any of my coffee shops, as they were either closed or I was trying to self-quarantine), so I snapped this up.While it does look moderately different from the picture, ultimately it didn't matter as this works perfectly! I do happen to use a reusable filter, so the string does snake out (if I leave the string inside, the container burps), but because it is make of silicone, it's super flexible and easily accommodates the string. Now, I no longer have to worry about 1) anything falling in it or 2) spilling.Thank you to my sibling! You're the best - this was SO WORTH it!

I use my Toddy constantly. I finally ordered this lid b/c I was tired of using plastic cling wrap while soaking my coffee. The lid is perfect. It fits snugly and is easy to take on and off b/c it's stretchy. One thing to note: you have to lift an edge to let air into the top when you are ready to pull the cork. I discovered quickly that the suction when the lid is on will keep the coffee from draining through the bottom.
