I purchased this to add a second monitor to my M1 Mac mini and it works perfectly. It was simple to connect and the picture on the second monitor is stable with no flickering. I am very happy with this purchase.

I've been using this at work for over a year now. 0 issues.Since this is a 4k adapter, haven't had any screen quality problems when sharing my screen and/or presenting.Occasionally the adapter heats up a little but in my opinion that isn't any cause for concern. It still maintains connection and picture.

I thought this didn’t work. But it turns out you can’t connect 2 monitors to a MacBook. I created a return thinking it was defective. I’m a returning this because I don’t need it anymore. Cant speak to longevity of it (explains the minus 1 star)

I go through a lot of these because I lose them a lot. But honestly is great for what you need it for. It functions well on a usbc on your computer to an HDMI on a monitor. I tend to loose these less because they are a bit brighter in color. They are durable and I get great sound and video quality from them with little or no latency. I carry them with me all the time and I have never had one break or fall apart.

I have been using this adapter since the start of the 2026 MLB Baseball season with my M1 Mac Air(13in) and our Samsung tv. Everything was fine until I upgraded to the M5 Mac Air(13in) today (9/4/26) .. nothing seemed to work, trying every option I knew plus suggestions from the web.I did have a different adapter, one that supports HDMI and 5 other USB devices... plugged it in! Everything worked.No researching trying to understand what is different. I did love the cable when used with the M1 Mac Air -- I do not have any other PC for testing other options.
