Great product, if you go to their website and read you can learn alot about this product.,and as they state it is ready for service once surfaces are mated. Never again will i use permatex, this stuff is superior when used as directed.

It's as good as everyone says it is. Sure it's more expensive then the others, but it's worth it in the end. Product expands a little, dries hard yet flexible just like a rubber gasket. Sets really fast, adheres well.

I was really hesitant on how much to buy as this was my first time rebuilding a Subaru engine however one tube was enough to seal my entire FB25 engine, applying heavier than the manual listed and messing up and having to redo a few small parts. One tube did my upper oil pan, oil pan, small bits on the heads, the cam carriers, the rocker covers, and the timing cover.

I ordered this and it was late/lost so I ordered a replacement and canceled the order and the 2nd one was 2 days late and when I opened the package the item was expired so I returned item again and it was again 2 days late and this time looks as if the expiration date was shaved off, very frustrated with this as its the third time I'm having to return the item.

Not alot for the price this is number one for sealing on cars that have no gaskets.subura uses this for all timing covers and where gaskets are not used.just did a boxer engine and used this and no more oil leak
