Surprisingly versatile.
It has a very long depth of field. It’s in focus from one and a half inch to twenty feet. You can see where your going and what you want to look at. The camera end if fatter than most but the resolution is exceptional. Great for finding your way through an airplane wing and checking the condition along the length of a control cable. Small enough to get in the spark plug hole to check a valve with the included mirror. There are smaller with the same quality image but you will pay significantly more. The affordable ones have the camera in the tip. The expensive ones have a lens in the tip followed but a length of optical quality glass fibers that go to a camera. This scope works well at a decent price for the features.

Another Poor quality mofule
I am on the market searching for a good quality wifi inspection camera (endoscope/bore scope) I am mechanical engineer having to deal very often with situations when “I need to see behind the walls”It looks like most products advertised on the market have some kind of issue, and are far away from good and a reliable quality. This endoscope, for example, has a a pretty good image, depending what app is used for viewing. For me worked the “scope view”. Other apps, doesn’t list the highest resolution of the product. The dial which controls the camera led is poor, ... from zero to 5-10 % works fine, after that jumps to 100% light intensity. That is bad.The autofocus is the worst ever: doesn’t work. Pointing the camera to infinite, the focus is good. When the camera head is pointed to closer items, does not focus at all, or takes forever to focus. If zoom is used for any reason, the autofocus is not working, the image is blurred. For the price, the manufacturer could supply some kind of carry pouch to keep the endoscope protected from elements.Overall is a overpriced product with more issued then expected. For me is a looser and a return.Keep looking

Nice picture, quick as it's over Wifi and not BlueTooth. Could use a case!!!
So far so good. It has a much better picture than other Endoscopes I've used in the past. I like being able to view on my 12.9" iPad Pro. It's fast as it's connected over Wifi and not the much slower Blue-Tooth. The one Negative I could give it, though it's NOT advertised to come with it, so you can't really knock it for not having it, is a Case to put it all in. Either you have to store it in the box it came in or get one. So I ended up getting one. It's the DEPSTECH Original Endoscope Borescope Carrying Case, which I ordered on Amazon for $16.99. It fits the 16.4ft version that I got this fine Diagonal in the case. The manual and extra parts fit into the top. It's a nice small size with a handle in a simi ridged case. So that's a little extra cost if you want a decent case to put it into.

Great quality picture
Used for inspections in conjunction with my iPad. Great picture. Due to the high resolution you can zoom in further for great detail. Highly recommend.

Seems very nice
I just received this unit, and haven't really had a need to use it yet, but I played around with it a bit to make sure it worked. The setup is pretty simple using the provided instructions. It has a nice clear picture and the one thing I really like, and a main reason for purchasing, is that it has auto focus and zoom. I happened to have a splinter in my finger when I was playing with it that I couldn't see. I had the camera about 2 inches away from my finger, and was able to focus in on the splinter easily. When I took my finger away, it focused quickly to a wall in my garage 30 feet away. Another nice thing is the ability to adjust the lights on the camera all the way down until they are completely off. Other brands I've tried only dimmed partially and would still be too bright to not wash out the picture. The camera is a bit bulkier than others, but I suppose that's a trade off for the auto focusing camera with the ability to zoom..

Pretty good
The media could not be loaded. 4.5 out of 5 (rounded up to 5 since there's no half star option). Semi-stiff cable makes it slightly hard to push through larger drains and hard to push through certain pipe joints. I had to tape the camera to my hydrojet in order to get it far enough into the pipe. Quality is great and has allowed me to inspect my main drainage pipe to see how bad the grease/fatberg clogs are. There is a noticeable delay in focus at times and focus shifting occurs with the camera stationary but with something moving in the background and this has caused some minor frustrations. Video saves in .avi format with the recommended app. Two complaints - would like a manual focus override (hardware or software) and the LED lights could be brighter. The LED brightness dial is basically pointless - it's either off or max brightness. There isn't enough usable light at any setting below maximum.

Worked once then failed to work after that
Seemed very promising based on other reviews. Received the unit and immediately tested it out. I followed the instructions online and downloaded the app according to the instructions located here on Amazon. The instructions that came with the device are so-so. I fully charged the device and got it work with my phone. Everything seemed to work fine. I put the device away and put it in my tool drawer (dry, cool, located indoors).Fast forward 1 month. I decided to use the endoscope and fully charged it. I tried connecting to the wifi network created by the device but no matter what I do, I can no longer connect to the device. I have not changed anything, and I'm using the same phone. I've tried all sorts of things but no matter what I can't seem to connect to the device. Unfortunately, this happened RIGHT after the return period ended. The vendor did reach out and tried to provide some technical support. Sadly, none of it has helped yet (thus the 2 stars vs 1 star review).
