Its solid, airtight design eliminates airflow, making it perfect for encapsulated crawl spaces. The tool-free pin-release cover enables quick access without hinges or corrosion risk. This non-louvered crawl space access door is completely solid with no louvers and no ventilation openings, so your foundation entry point stays as airtight as the rest of your encapsulation. The door surface-mounts over your existing foundation opening with a 3" flange that overlaps on all sides and hides imperfections in the opening. No masonry cutting required. Secure it with a masonry drill bit or construction adhesive, and most homeowners are done in under 15 minutes. Need to get inside? The solid cover panel lifts off using integrated side pins β€” no hinges to rust, no tools needed. Remove it for inspections, equipment installation, or maintenance access, then drop it back in place. One-person operation every time. Crafted from UV-stabilized ABS plastic that won't rust, rot, or warp in high-humidity crawl space conditions. Available in 5 sizes to fit the most common foundation openings. The outer frame dimensions are larger than the opening size listed β€” measure your rough opening before selecting your size. Can you paint this door? Yes β€” use any paint that bonds to plastic to match your foundation or siding color. From Crawl Space Door Systems β€” crawl space specialists since 1996, Virginia Beach, VA. Review: Easy Installation and Excellent Crawlspace Door - I purchased my house a year ago and needed a new crawlspace door as my old one had gaps around it. It was difficult to take on and off. I did not like the price of this product so I kept looking at other options, I finally decided to pay the money and I am so happy I did. This product was easy to install and takes off or goes on in seconds. Highly Recommend. Review: Easy to Install. Looks good. Effective cover. - The frame plastic is brittle and will crack if struck with force. I found out the hard way. I attempted to use a 1/8" steel pin and lightweight hammer to create a starter hole for the first fastener screw in the upper center portion of the frame plastic. After that error, I placed the frame exactly where I wanted it to be attached to the brick wall. Then I used a 1/4 masonry drill bit to easily penetrate the frame plastic and the cement seams. I hand-screwed six fastener screws. The frame seated tightly against the wall with no gaps. I then attached the crawl space cover. The final product looks good and is a huge improvement over the steel cover installed by the builder. Pricey, but a highly recommended product, because it will never rot and rust. ## Features - MEASURE YOUR OPENING FIRST β€” FITS 12"H Γ— 32"W OPENINGS β€” Outer frame dimensions are 17ΒΎ"H Γ— 37Β½"W including the 3" flange on all sides. Measure your rough opening before ordering β€” not the outer frame size. A popular choice for standard-width foundation openings with lower clearance heights. - SOLID ENCAPSULATION SEAL β€” NO LOUVERS, NO AIRFLOW β€” Unlike louvered doors, this door is completely solid with no ventilation openings of any kind. The solid cover panel creates a weathertight seal β€” ideal for encapsulated or conditioned crawl spaces where controlling airflow completely is essential. - PIN-RELEASE COVER FOR EASY ACCESS β€” The solid cover panel lifts off using integrated side pins β€” no hinges, no corrosion, no tools needed. Remove it for inspections, maintenance, or equipment installation, then drop it back in place. Simple one-person operation every time. - INSTALLS IN MINUTES WITH NO MASONRY CUTTING β€” Surface-mounts over your existing foundation opening. The 3" flange overlaps the opening on all sides and hides imperfections for a clean look. Secure with a masonry drill bit or construction adhesive β€” most homeowners finish in under 15 minutes. - CRAWL SPACE SPECIALISTS SINCE 1996 β€” Nearly 30 years focused exclusively on crawl space products. Paintable with any plastic-adherent paint to match your foundation or siding. Effective cover. *by S***E on June 29, 2022* The frame plastic is brittle and will crack if struck with force. Pricey, but a highly recommended product, because it will never rot and rust. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not lockable but here is a fix *by S***K on December 20, 2021* Quality is good but there was no way provided to lock or prevent a casual person gaining access. I fitted to short 1/2" thick pieces of wood into profile of the frame. Glued and screwed. See pictures. Door was then screwed to the frame in two places using security screws as was the frame. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/25682805-non-louvered-crawl-space-access-door-surface-mounted-12-h](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/25682805-non-louvered-crawl-space-access-door-surface-mounted-12-h) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
