KS2 English Targeted Question Book: Word Power - Year 5

I bought this book for my child to practice English during lockdown, I thought it’s a good idea to stretch his vocabulary and give him understanding of how different languages influence English. The book itself is interesting and it would definitely serve the purpose if not for the fact this book comes with NO answers (my mistake, I didn’t check that before!). To get the answers I would need pay an extra £10 for Teachers Book, which I’m not going to do. As I don’t know answers to all the questions myself I find this book useless without provided answers sadly.Delivery was swift with Amazon Prime, no issues.

Need to buy £9.99 answer book for it to make much sense. At almost three times the price this should be clearly stated upfront so customers know beforehand.

Delighted i got it. It introduces kids and parents to the roots of their language. Very excited about it :-)

Good study book to learn about root words and some historical facts about the how the language developed. My son finds all the facts and the type of activities engaging.
