This is the best natural deodrant

I wanted to love this as much as any other person here. The reviews were mostly glowing, and I was very eager to get on a natural deodorant regiment. I read all of the reviews and anticipated the “detox period” a ton of people were referring to. Here’s what I experienced.After a few days of initial application, my arm pits turned a very dark color. My skin was also a lot more sensitive. I never over applied, just a small layer which felt like sand and very sticky. I also per the instructions never applied directly after shaving. The discoloration and terrible smell of body odor was overwhelming at this point approximately two weeks after initial use. I reached out to their customer service alias which is printed on the deodorant stick. They really do care about customer experience, and I applaud this company for their efforts. Sean responded immediately and let me know enhanced body odor and discoloration are common results from the body detoxing. For the dark skin, which he indicated was dead skin cells, mix half parts of warm water with apple cider vinegar. Wait 15 minutes and then shower. He even advised that most people do not need to use an aloofa or scrub, but it doesn’t hurt. I tried this regiment for nearly a week and the discoloration turned from dark brown to an inflamed red. My arm pits became so sensitive and painful I discontinued use after nearly a month of trial.Listen, this may work for you and I certainly would like to purchase from a family owned company but this product is just not meant for me. I hate to give 1 Star because as I previously mentioned the customer service was phenomenal, but this product did not do what a deodorant is supposed to...keep the stink at bay! And it made my poor arm pits inflamed and super sore!

I was skeptical when I tried this as I have tried many "natural" deodorants and they either felt "melty" and marred my clothing or they flat-out didn't work. I also didn't want to pay a fortune. I initially found this difficult to adjust to, because I'm used to slathering on copious amounts of over the counter products on my underarms for all-day coverage. I switched to natural deodorant when a female friend of mine developed breast cancer with no inkling of any family history or risk factors. I switched my two teenaged daughters, too, but until now was not able to find an affordable and effective product. This one I love, and when they say use it sparingly, they mean it. That was a hard adjustment for me. After having used it for a little over a week now, I can honestly say I have experienced no issues with wetness or odor, and I live in a cold climate where I bundle in the winter and sometimes get too hot indoors. Even when I get overheated, it performs. I love the fact that this is made in America and family-owned/operated. The cute little bag that comes with it is a personal touch, although I would likely only use it to transport the stick when traveling to avoid contact in luggage. I would recommend this and will be buying for my daughters as well.

Such a fantastic natural deodorant! Works great goes on well. I didn't smell at all with it on. Highly recommend this and the lavender one as well. They're both AWESOME!Deodorant doesn't stain, stay clean all day :)Love the packaging and branding too!

I am extremely satisfied with this deodorant! I was needing one that was unscented AND safe, as I am a breastfeeding and pregnant mommy. I follow the directions and apply a thin layer and it has worked great. It doesn’t have the sticky or slimy feel other natural deodorants have. And it truly is unscented! I’m so glad this family has created this product and I will continue to order from them! I highly recommend this deodorant!

I was only able to use this for a week due to an incredibly painful rash I developed under both arms. The picture included here is three days after discontinuing use of the product. It will probably take another week to recover.I read the other reviews that talked about rashes developing, but I have never had particularly sensitive skin, so I thought I would be ok. Nope. If you are going to give this product a shot, I would recommend following the directions closely - apply a very thin layer (like one stroke).My reaction to this product is unfortunate because I feel like it worked very well as a deodorant. I didn’t go through days of smelling like a wild animal transitioning to a natural deodorant, as others have warned of. The product has no noticeable scent and seems to do the job for 24 hours as advertised.My quest continues....moving onto a mineral-based solid deodorant.
