Four Seasons 53008 Rapid-Cool Transmission Oil Cooler

Haven't installed yet but just what they said it would be .

As some other say, mine is also a hayden brand cooler. Nice cooler, I built brackets to mount mine out away from the condenser. Also did away with the cooler in the radiator, so far so good, temps are down! Happy with the purchase. Does come with a installation kit.

Even tho I bought one locally and payed double of what its sold on amazon , I find it to be a great cooler .Mine got lost in the mail so I had to buy one from a local auto parts at twice that of Amazons price .It fit great in a Jeep Commander ....

Nice large cooler, but what I find confusing is that I received a Hayden, believe model 679, cooler. Made in Australia (says so on it) I'm not sure if Rapid cools are rebranded or if this was an anomaly inside Amazon? Not complaining, or bragging just what I received. Expect it to cool a 3500 stall 727 Mopar Converter and transmission adequately for street strip use.

The stated dimensions are correct for the height and width. However, the stated thickness of 1.8” is woefully inaccurate, as it’s only .75” thick. This is a lightweight trans cooler and is maybe suitable for running around, but, definitely not meant for any real towing. Spend the extra money on the Tru-Cool Max trans cooler, if you want a trans cooler meant for work.Also, two of the fin ends were bent, even though the box was undamaged. It’s not a big deal, but, worth noting, from a quality control aspect.
