Recived a broken screen
I recived the screen broken out of the box. I had to return it.

Working? My second attempt with a replacement screen worked
Update** I may not have installed properly but not sure. I got a new screen. I used a drawing app to see if any deadspots before gluing. Found some, reseated connections and it worked. Maybe I messed up on first screen?? No way to know.**Amazon rebated my funds. Looking for a new screen. It installed well, looks decent, but there is a dead zone in the middle, about one inch all the way across. Until I find a new replacement this screen is somewhat functional. I had initially put a 1 star but due to Amazon being awesome, the screen installing easily, looking good, and maybe this is a fluke I upgraded to 3. Holiday spirit maybe as well lol.

Adhesive doesn’t stick
*UPDATE* After doing some research I found it was unlikely this product was defective and only working in certain areas. I removed everything again and reconnected the boards and the screen works everywhere now. I'll take responsibility for user error! Upgrading to 3 stars because for my purpose - fixing an old spare iPad to take travelling - it's sufficient. Adhesive still doesn't stick well so while I can't say I'd recommend it, I put down some crazy glue to hold the screen.Original review : There are unresponsive areas that weren’t like that before and the screen keeps lifting even after letting it sit under a heavy book overnight.

Somehow already has a scratch. Home button doesn’t work
I dunno. The screen itself works. Adhesive didn’t stick in one corner. Home button doesn’t work. I’m a pretty smart guy, but there’s a ton of room for error in this diy. I bought a case that essentially holds this all together. Home button fingerprint scanner doesn’t work but it clicks and returns you to home. For a 2018 iPad, this is fine to keep it alive another 5 months

I bought this to replace an iPad screen that was broken by my youngest. I've watched a lot of youtube videos before purchasing this so I knew what I would need to do...and I've also replaced my screen on my MBP. Super easy to do when you know what you should be doing. I haven't had any issues with the screen lifting and it's been a few months now since I have replaced it! The touch screen works great, as does the home button. Very helpful to have the kit included. I did need to order a mini heat gun for the adhesive to melt from the broken screen and get it off but that was it!

Pretty Good
So it’s of course not as good as the original screen which is to be expected but it does the job well. This may be user error but I have two dead spots but it’s not much of an issue. There are no instructions so you’ll have to find a YouTube video to figure it out. All in all it works, it looks good, and it was only like 40 dollars CAD. Worth it.
