Goody Beautiful Flower Design Counter Clip 12pc per pack

I bought a package of these at Walmart a few years ago I really like them alot but when I bought these and received them they are not the same as pictured I bought them because they had different flowers on them now I have 2 packages of barrettes that are exactly the same. Amazon should really try harder and make sure the description matches the pictures.

These barrettes clip in so easily and require very little pressure to clip into place. Unlike other brands, my daughter does not say, "ouch" when I clamp down since I don't have to push very hard.The design is cute. It looks a little faded and color-worn--almost like they have been on the shelf for too long. I wouldn't expect that from goody, as so many of their products have such vibrant colors. The colors I received are not at all as vibrant as the colors on the package in the photo here.However, despite the fact that these look 20 years old, they get four stars because they close so well without hurting my daughter's head and they do stay in all day.

My daughter (2.5 years old) has a lot of hair. We ran out of clips so I went on amazon and got a lot different kinds of clips. My wife did give me props for these being really cute, but that's the only good thing. The bad is that they don't hold the hair that much. I guess they aren't worse that most clips out there but we wanted something that really held the hair. My wife (not me) thought bangs would be a good idea and now we are trying to grow them out on my 2.5 year old. Her hair is more than half way down her back so she has a lot of hair for her age and we were looking for something to keep her hair from falling in her face. These didn't do very well compared to some of the others we got. The Goody Colour Contur Clips Blone are the best so far. The ones I got were a little bigger than expected, but do a great job of holding hair and don't get lost as easy.

These are wonderful. They are the exact size I wanted (see photo), and they are beautiful colors, both bright and pastel (see photo). When I first received them, it was a little odd to see how they "opened" (see photo), but they are much sturdier than I originally thought and I'm very pleased with that. My daughter loves being able to pick her own, and I love that they won't pick her fingers or scratch her head. I do push them against her head to close the clip, but she's never complained of it hurting or pushing too hard. I love these, my daughter loves these, I highly recommend them, and we'll most likely order more. Enjoy yours!

Hair doesn’t get captured in end of barrettes. Other barrettes with rivets at the ends tend to capture fine hair breaking it off upon removing barrettes; but these barrettes don’t have the rivets so that problem doesn’t occur.The barrettes do slide with fine hair, but so far I haven’t found any barrettes that don’t slide. I would recommend this product to others.

I have loved these for over a decade. I used them for my oldest daughter and now for my 3 year old. They hold better when you use two. They look lovely and have a thick plastic piece over the clip, so they are sturdy and no paint flaking off or any metal showing. Elegant perfection. Thank you for carrying these. I was happy to find them again after all these years.

These are too heavy for fine hair. My nine-year old daughter is growing out a short pixie hair cut. We use another type of Goody Girls hair clips to keep her bangs pinned backed during ballet class. I was hoping these clips would be the same type. The type we prefer seem to be coated with a flexible type of epoxy and come in pastel colors, and occasionally stripes or polka dots. These flower clips are larger than the ones we usually find at Target, and the metal on the back of the clips is slightly rough like it needs sanding. The coating on these clips (the colored flower portion) is a heavy plastic that looks like it could break easily and also looks like it would catch fine hairs and break them off. We aren't even going to try them for her bangs because it's obvious they are too big to hold the fine hair, and then would most likely break the hair it did hold.

Great size for toddlers. A little larger and heavier than the standard metal only clips, because these have a plastic overlay, but we haven't had any problems with them coming out (at least anymore than usual).
