Replaced a previous purchase of the same notebook a year apart. The previous one (in black) is high grain leather stitched around the edges, with a woven thread binding. For the new purchase I opted for a brown version, expecting the same quality. This is not the case. Low quality thin leather, no grain, no stitching, and glued through the spine rather than binding. It’s like a total fake. The images for the sale are of the higher grade version, please review the images with the brown venezia style. Terrible behaviour. People buying this product are doing so for the quality of the product, else we’d be buying moleskines from the stationers.

I wanted to return to writing with a fountain pen and keep a journal for occasional musings and this fits the bill exactly. There is something special about the leather cover, the marbled edges to the sheets of plain paper that invite you to use it. It is something that you can treasure and hopefully it will inspire you to write and read later in life.

Bought as a gift; recipient was delighted with it. Good quality, stylish and well made.
