Great Cleaner!
I have used Mrs. Meyers products for 2 years and now get them by the case on auto-ship from Amazon.I don't like to use any products that are tested on animals, which is totally unnecessary. It is a cruel practicethat needs to be outlawed in this and every other country. This cleaner is better than the chemical cleaners, in that it does not contaminate your home or familywith chemicals. The estimate by the Melaleuca Company is that people who use chemical brands like Johnson family and Proctor and Gamble (pun intended) have a 70% higher incidence of cancer. I take it farther. I think that the modern lifestyle using chemicals andchemically enhanced foods has also caused the rise in Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and look at ADHD and Autism statistics! Go back to organic food, which my parent's generation (born in the '20s) ate as a normal diet, and natural cleaners andyou would see a different story as far as disease. But in the end, Mrs. Meyers products are very effective, have great fragrances, and you can feel good about usingproducts that won't poison your family or the rest of the country by using them.

Good Soap But Scent is Very Floral
The scent is stronger than I expected and much more floral than herbal. I generally prefer fresher and more neutral scents in my kitchen that compliment the smells associated with food prep. However, it's still a good product and works well.

AWESOME PRODUCT
I gotta tell you, I was very hesitant to try this product but I'm soooo glad I did. I used to subscribe to the Seventh Generation Free and Clear dish soap and I had to use a LOT to get the dishes done. This product I use for hand soap in the bathroom and dish soap and a little goes a long way. The BASIL scent is heavenly. It smells like a mix of basil and flowers, but not too overpowering. It has been over a week and the hand soap dispenser is still 3/4 way full (and it has not dried my hands AT ALL) and I still have a few days worth of dish soap left in the kitchen. So it is fair to say that one sixteen ounce bottle will last you two weeks if you are using it for dish soap only. If you subscribe and save you'll be paying about $3.20 a bottle and it is well worth it. I will never go back to Seventh Generation dish soap again. I'm in love.

My New Go To Dish Soap
I've been using Dr. Bronner for quite some time until shortages started happening. I was forced to look for other brands. Well.... like they say, everything happens for a reason. My new go to is Mrs. Meyer's! The dish soap lasts much much longer. The quality of the dispenser is higher. The scent is refreshing. Quickly removes stains with light scrubbing.... all for a MUCH BETTER PRICE!

Not Basil Fragrnce, light floral instead
I like Mrs. Meyer's products very much as generally they perform well and are safe to use. Thus far Lavender is my favorite since it smells like a moderate strength lavender;Geranium as it smells like a bushel of real roses (a bit overpowering); and then Basil for its very, very too light floral scent. I thought Snap Pea smelled like cut grass that had been sitting in a closed plastic bag and opened a week later. Although the suds/grease cutting power is not as strong as Dawn, Mts. Meyer's product is much better than Seventh Generation's or Ecover's dish washing liquid soap. Of course it is also more expensive than the other 2 brands, as all 3 usually have an Amazon coupon offer at one time or another throughout the year.
