In regards to the quality of the box, I think it’s fine. It’s going to do what it needs to do. But this review is in particular to the assembly. It was great because all you have to do is click the pieces together. Minimal nuts and bolts to assemble. However, to put the lid on the top of this box was incredibly difficult. This piece was also a click piece, however, because the pieces were so rigid and tight, It required me getting inside the box and putting incredible pressure upward as a counter force as my husband used a mallet hammer to snap them into place. It was awful. So, if you do not have someone else to help you assemble, or you’re just not a super muscular Family, do not purchase this item because it was very difficult to assemble.

Great storage container. Pain installing the lid. You have to get it at just the right angle Plus is you are over 200 lbs do not sit on it

WE HAVE BEEN TRYING ON AND OFF TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE REGARDING THIS ITEM FOR OVER A WEEK NOW AND IT STATES MAILBOX IS FULL. WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO PUT THIS TOGETHER ON AND OFF SINCE WE RECEIVED IT. WE HAVE ASSEMBLED 3 QUARTERS OF IT AND CANNOT GET THE TOP TO SNAP IN. IT APPEARS TO BE OUT OF ALIGNMENT. WE HAD THROWN THE BOX OUT SO THEREFORECANNOT RETURN. IT IS SEATING ON OUR LIVING ROOM FLOOR . THIS IS RIDICULOUS. DIFFICULTY TRYING TO FIND A CONTACT # FOR AMAZON AND LIKE PREVIOUSLY STATED PRODUCT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UNREACHABLE.......... WOULD NOT PURCHASING THIS ITEM. VERY DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE

Will store outside, but under overhang as I don’t believe the resin is strong/thick enough to hold up very long under the sun. Also, not bug proof, so plan accordingly. Assembly tip: Apply Vaseline on the snap connector areas before assembly, and they’ll pop into place with minimal effort.

A couple notes1. My purchase inte t was a bit unusual, I have a tall platform like bed and wanted an ottoman for.the end 9g my bed, but all ottomans were to short. This ended up being the perfect size and surprising doesn't look that out of place in my room!2. The hinge mechanism...could not put it t9gether.for the life of me. As all. You need to wedge the lid into high like parts of the body before installing the metal bits on the inside, but it would not wedge I to the right bits at all, even m husband tried. Luckily it still functions to sit and store other wise.

This is a very large box that can be used for multiple purposes and you can use the top half for a sitting area. I actually used it for my child's toy box and it works.

This product is rediculously cheap for the price. Placed a few heavy items in it and went to lift and the bottom fell apart. I was hoping that there would be gagets holding it together instead it is plastic to plastic...example...place A with B...no metal holds at all. Large and will hold LIGHT products but nothing heavy like videos or CDs. A waste of money. Truly do not buy. Had not idea it was made in China and I try to never buy anything made in China. I bought another chest but have not opened yet knowing it could be the same. May return. A cheap cheap product that one cannot not put much weight into the chest for storage. Something that you can use for storage but never never move in fear it would fall apart.

Great size. Holds a lot of clutter. Myself and my children can sit on the cushioned lid at the same time and it feels very sturdy. Already washed the cushion cover and it did ok in the laundry. The lid opens well and it looks good on the patio.
