Junk, it barely worked once… them stopped working
I would highly advise that you DO NOT BUY this chocolate fountain. It barely kept the chocolate melted our first try and completely stopped heating the second time we used. It. This thing does not work. Read the other reviews. Just JUNK!

Hit of party
Bought this machine for my son’s birthday party. It’s easy to assemble. I pre-melt chocolate chips in microwave. Then mixed it well with some avocado oil. This is important, it makes melted chocolate running smoothly. And it still tastes good. This machine performs continuous great for more than two hours! Every kid is crazy for it. Frankly speaking, the cleaning job is not easy but not that hard as I thought. Anyway at this price, I get more than I paid for.

Instant party hit! Woohoo!
Best $40 I spent on my daughter's 16th birthday. Worked flawlessly for the five hours we used it everyone loved it. Honestly we should have bought two so we could do cheese in one and chocolate in the other. Follow the directions exactly in the book. Word to the wise- no need to buy chocolate. Recipe for chocolate in the manual tasted better and flowed better than the chocolate on Amazon. It's just chocolate chips and oil. Highly recommend.

I was disappointed that the 2nd time I went o use the ...
first one I ordered was broke. they replaced it and the 2nd one worked very noisily until we leveled it out. It was very difficult to even see that it wasn't level. But the noise it made, made it obvious that it wasn't. I was disappointed that the 2nd time I went o use the fountain I noticed the ring around the tier at the bottom was cracked in the same spot that I replaced the first one for. I would not order this product again. Maybe if the ring were metal, I would but it's a hard plastic and breaks easily.

Grest for a gravy fountain!
I ordered this to use as a gravy fountain. Similar consistency so I figured it would work and it did! It's small, not a huge fountain. Just the right size for a party of 20ish people. Gravy, cheese, ranch, would all work for this. I honestly feel like it wouldn't work for chocolate as well though. It does not keep things very warm. My gravy was less than room temp after about an hour. I did have to add some hot milk to my gravy after 3 hours to keep it to temp (foodsafe nerd, here) and flowing well. That leads me to believe chocolate would be difficult, but I have yet to try it out. All in all, it is great. I will give an update after I try some other things.

Decent for home use
This unit does a good job of pumping (via screw-type impeller) and keeping the chocolate in a liquid state with its heating system. However there is one slight design oversight. The catch-basin of the unit is only slightly wider than the lowest fountain deflector. As a result, the slightest air movement (outside breeze or being near a ventilation register inside) causes the curtain of chocolate to be blown onto the table...what a mess. The company claims that this is commercial grade. There is probably not a concise definition of commercial grade when it comes to items like this, however this unit seems to be of consumer grade quality at best. On the flip side, the quality is what I'd expect for the low price I paid.Lastly, make sure you understand the size of this. I, like the last reviewer, thought that the unit was much larger. This isn't the seller's fault because they post the dimensions. I'm not sure what led me to feel it was bigger.
