This product arrived quickly and was well packaged. It met our needs as it was described, and it was easy to install. We were happy not to have to drill holes in the bumper of the car we got from South Carolina, where there is no front tag required.

This is very easy to install. I wish the instructions included what size of socket was needed.Other minor thing that I didn’t like is that it’s black, but has silver screws. I contacted the seller about this and got a very quick response saying they did carry black screws. So the annoyance is that I had to pay $2 extra and wait for the screws to arrive before I could install. They could easily fix this by adding the black screws in the package or including black caps.I also wish that when the plate is taken off that the tow hook cover would go back on to cover the hole. One of the main reasons for having the quick release is for aesthetics during shows and such. Having the post stick out the hole ruins the sleek look of the front end. Luckily, it’s a very easy UNinstall as well. Maybe that can be figured out in future designs without ruining the integrity of it. Overall, the product is very sturdy and seems to be good quality.

Very easy to install and drastically changed the look of my Mini. If you have a state that requires a front tag and don’t want your bumper drilled this is the move.

Installed this on the front bumper of my 2016 MINI f56 since I just got a new black front bumper facia installed under warranty and did not want any plate holes drilled in it as my state will no longer require a front plate after July 1st of this year... On in about 5 minutes and all parts of this plate mount are very robust solid metal, no cheap plastic components to this whatsoever. And it is designed and manufactured in the USA which is awesome!

The tow hook is way too short and would contact the bumper. I really had high hopes but am very disappointed with this product. Also I have to pay for the shipping back!! That is maddening!!! Don’t buy this, there are better products out there, I was swayed by the marketing but it’s a terrible fit for my 2023 mini clubman.

The unit is of sturdy construction. It fits well and does not block the lights or vents. A #15 wrench is included to tighten the front bolt, but the kit lacks a wrench to attach the stem to the car, and it lacks a #4 allen wrench to attach the plate with the provided screws. I suggest you keep an adjustable (eg channel lock) wrench and allen wrench set in you car, in case you need to use the tow hook. Note that a #4 allen wrench is commonly supplied with products that need assembly. You may have an extra lying around.

I didn't want to pay this much for a plate mount, but I also didn't want holes drilled into my Cooper. I'm quite jazzed about how this worked out. It's a clever design. No regrets now.
