Great replacement value

I ordered 2 place settings to add to my already existing collection. These were completely different from the Italian Blue Spode I already have. The blue was darker, the shading contrast was not as apparent, and the images were blurry unlike my original Made in England Blue Italian Spode. The print was also very similar but it was different in certain parts like the inside of the tea cups (see pictures). In addition, the color of the white was a creamier off white rather than the crisp white of my existing china and they also felt thicker. Maybe the would work as an original set but quality is really very poor for what was once considered fine china. I had to send them back.

I rather suspect durability would be how much they are used and how rough a person is with their dishes these are meant to be like fine china not an everyday dish .They are not heavy, very light weight It's glass it will break if it's dropped; one cup had it's base to break in one shipment of these dishes (got some thru another company). I do love them they are a nice addition to my collection of blue and white dishes. I also have Blue Willow dishes. Hope this helps someone

I am a Civil War re-enactor and needed dishes that could easily pass as period acceptable. This is a pattern that has been in production since 1835, so no problem there. The only hint is that on the underside it states "Microwave safe". The dishes are attractive and hand wash easily. I don't know how well they would hold up under dishwasher use..

I am so embarrassed. I didn't realize this was just ONE set. While I love what I received, I guess it's dinner and tea just for me. Haha! Do I really want to buy three more of these? I don't know... feeling bummed out.
