Some good insights and great advice for those struggling in organizations with poor leadership
I break this book down into 2 sections: 1) How to excel and make a difference in organizations with poor leadership. 2) How to instill a set of rules or culture so that your type A leadership can get along. The book is just ok.

Excellent book - very insightful and action oriented!
Few pages in, and already picked up several insights. Specific examples that were helpful so far are the a) power of a co-elevation mindset (e.g., everyone on the team owning the team’s success) and b) the practice of candor (e.g., how we can tell the truth about what we need to hear to be more effective as a team)

Missing the rest of the book...WTF.
I was enjoying this book quite a lot, had some great actionable things to try out. I really enjoy real world examples and find them useful along with being easier to test out. However, the rest of the Rule 7 chapter is missing!?! It ends abruptly on pg 182, in the middle of sentence and story. I just checked the table of contents, turns out, there's even an 8th chapter missing, the notes and the acknowledgements.Bummed & annoyed that I don't have the end of the book.

Work, family, life. This book teaches you how to improve every relationship you have.
Learn how to co-elevate with those around you! Great, easy read. Awesome content that is applicable to the business world, family life, and every personal relationship. Halfway through I felt compelled to send a message to the author on social media, detailing how excited I was after reading a chapter that really hit home with a situation in the workplace. If you find yourself (or those around you) making excuses for mediocrity, this is a must read!
