"No Senseless Suffering"
I was introduced to Fr Mike through the Catechism in a Year and Bible in a Year podcasts. This easy to read book is recommended for all God's children. Very powerful with Scriptural references. I wish all could understand, "Father use this!".

MOVED ME TO TEARS
I love Fr. Mike Schmitz’ podcasts and videos, so I ordered this book. I started reading it on my own, and found it to be too simple for a practicing Catholic and too complicated to give to a non-Christian friend. Then I started over, reading out loud to a blind Catholic friend and discussing it with her. We discovered it to be excellent in that it often triggered memories that needed to be healed. I highly recommend reading this book together with someone you feel comfortable with. It’s a very therapeutic experience. At the same time, we are gaining a better understanding of all the ways Original Sin has infected our relationships and our lives.

Food for thought.
It's a wake up call. One day we all have to go down that road.I always pray for a peaceful death. I pray for hope because without hope we have nothing. This book explains a lot and we have to accept it or not.

In his sermons, speeches, and writings. He seems always to be talking to you, in words that are understandably caring.

Great quick fruitful read
Very much enjoyed this book. I would even recommend this to high school kids and elderly. Changed my perspective on our brokenness in this world.

When life doesn't make sense the only thing that does is trust in the risen Lord
We live in challenging and disturbing times. Our foundation and strength must come from believing and trusting in the risen Lord!
