Skunk2 Racing 628-05-0100 Single-Bend Short Shifter for Honda Civic/CR-X

I rebuilt my shifter using all OEM parts about 14 years ago. My friend bought me an inexpensive eBay short shifter (blue) a couple of years later and I loved it. The car sat for about a decade, Covid hit and I decided to rebuild the majority of the vehicle. The bearings had rusted in the short shifter so I ordered a cheap one off Amazon. It was absolute junk, and I didn't even install it. I ordered it because I couldn't justify paying the price for the Skunk2. Well, I said screw it and ordered the Skunk2. There is no comparison in quality between this and any of the other shifters I have used, including OEM. Just buy it and don't think about it. I drive this car every day and smile every time I shift now. You won't regret spending the money.

It is way more better than the OEM part. I should have bought it sooner. I kinda wish I bought the skunk2 double bent, so the shifter will a bit taller. However, this is low key shifter tho, you couldn't tell it is after market shifter just by the look, unless you feel it. It is a bit pricy but shifter is one of those parts you don't want to go too cheap.

Everything was great. Easy to install. Wish it came with new bushings instead of trusting the factory one. Other than that it’s great

Basically weighs about twice as much as factory unit and handle is relatively short, changing distance from steering wheel..

Would've been nice to know that it didn't come with any hardware, bushings or pieces that come with the purchased shifter. I had to go find pieces to occupy the gap from the OEM shifter in order for it to work.. aside from that it was in good condition, it functions as it should, it got here pretty quickly.
