Valve was so impossible, tore, & could not inflate. Could not use for daughter’s Birthday shoot, so devastating!

This is quite a nice balloon that we're using to celebrate our daughter's first birthday, though I'll imagine most are combining with another number for a child's birthday.My philosophy behind birthday decoration is to do a few large things instead of 30 little things, which still creates a really special event without a ton of hassle, cleanup, and waste. You can't beat a huge floating number for a birthday.These are easy to fill yourself if you have helium. I don't so I went to the store and paid three dollars for them to fill it. The balloon retained its floatiness for 3 days looking great and was OK for another 2.It's beautiful and bright, easily read, and though it's thin and would break if abused, it's held up completely well under our normal use. We actually considered reusing it, but I don't see how we could as it will be nine years before we have another "1" in a birthday.If you think about it, every photo with this uniquely colored, yet feminine giant 1 will clearly be our daughter's first birthday. You can't put a price on that.

I bought a helium tank, which I used to fill this and other balloons for a birthday balloon bouquet that I made. This balloon was easy to fill. It’s durable, pretty, and long lasting. It has been about 5 days since I filled it with the helium and it is still full and floating.
