Black Hills National Forest: Harney Peak and the Historic Fire Lookout Towers (Images of America) Paperback – May 9, 2011

Not a lot of other places you can find these images or this info. This book has done all the footwork of collecting the images and info from many different sources, and presents it nicely. A must for fire lookout history buffs.

Nearly all of the photos do not list their source. Considering that one of the authors is a librarian, this is totally surprising.

A nice simple history. Of a nice, simple place. I enjoyed it and kept it for reference.
