Can you mark 45 degree cuts

Which size (7 or 12) would be best for a re-roofing project?

Typically a framing square would be the most helpful with a roofing project. But if I had to choose one or the other, I guess the 12. While 7 is standard, it will not span the short dimension of the shingle.

Does the ruler also have units of measurement of centimeters?

Hi Tomer, Great question! This Speed Square, our model # S0101, does not include metric units of measurement. Our Metric Speed Square, model # NA202 (and available on Amazon.com) does have metric units of measurement. Hope that helps! The Swanson Team
