Proudly made in the USA, this lightweight material ensures optimal performance and longevity. ## Description The Thermal Zero Power Pack muffler packing kit contains a (1/2″ thick x 12″ wide x 24″ long) section of 4 pound density ceramic material. This kit contains enough material to typically repack two motorcycle mufflers or one automotive muffler. Our ceramic muffler packing kits are far more dense than normal fiberglass packing material allowing the muffler that is repacked with our material to have a much better tone. Ceramic material is also superior to fiberglass in that it is much more durable and able to handle nearly three times the amount of heat than fiberglass. I purchased the Thermmal Zero Ceramic Packing, removed my silencer/muffler and removed the factory packing and installed the Thermal Zero packing and it now has a good throaty sound, still loud enough, but not as loud as it was. I have since put 2000 miles on the bike and it hasn’t changed at all.
