These were the only diffuser socks that would fit my old artist lights and make them usable as photographic lights. They work well and soften any shadows. Much cheaper than buying softbox lights!

I actually purchased this diffuser for my smaller 10” ring light, to help give some softness for my client as I am doing their makeup. So for me it was a very versatile product and worked perfectly, fit was great and it did the job of giving some softness.

I use multiple lights in my art studio and I need to use diffusers to reduce the shadows while I work. I have umbrellas which are kind of cumbersome so I figured I’d try these. They do appear a little flimsy but they fit over my 11” lights just fine without tearing. They just don’t diffuse quite as well as the umbrellas. Best for the lights that are farther away but for ones closer to where you work you still kind of have a spotlight.
