Probably will not help with that. I suggest that you move the strike plate as needed. You will have to chisel out the notch in the door frame, and reset the screw holes that hold the latch. Using tooth picks driven into the old screw holes may help reset screw position.

This is only for the latch. The other can do the door knob/lock.

Orginal handles better..not the handle!!! Much better striking control for lockset.
