Scosche MGQD-XTET MagicGrip Sense and Grip Qi-Certified Wireless Adhesive Charging Dash Phone Mount for Car, Black

I did not have many options on my GMC Acadia, and I did not want a vent mount.So far this is working great, and I like the movement and lighting on power up.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfect in my 2012 AUDI S6 holding and charging my 12 mini!Will not work with a pop socket... won’t close on it just FYI.

I purchased this mount and I really wanted it to work. I followed the instructions and cleaned the area prior to mounting the unit. I was told by a factory rep to not touch the mount for 3 days to enable the adhesive to fully stick to the dash. I checked my car 2 hours later and there it was on the floor of the vehicle, no matter what I did it would not stick to the dash. I’m all honesty I must say the my dash is slightly curved which was not good for any adhesive product. In reality, I utilized the area of the dash with only a slight curve, but no luck. I was just happy that this unit did not fall down while driving and get in the way of the 2 pedals!No matter what I attempted c the mount would not stick which led me to returning it

While it’s a great concept, the execution was poor. After installing (which was super simple, as it is with most of their products), went to use it. Finding the right spot to get the device to recognize my phone was in the cradle took a little bit to get used to. But the biggest problem was that my phone kept sliding down in the cradle. The subtle vibrations from the car eventually would cause my phone to slide all the way down, stop charging, and eventually fall out. My phone does have a case, but is textured on the sides for added grip, so you would think that would increase the cradles ability to hold my phone in place. Wrong! I even tried it without the case, but got the same result. Ended up only using for about a week before going back to my Magic Mount.UPDATE: Changing my review from 1 Star to 3. As I mentioned, LOVE Scosche but this line was kind of a miss. However, got a new phone and a new case that has flat, non-textured sides, which apparently allows for the grip pads to have better traction and hold my phone in place. With this design, it’s pretty solid when in the cradle. Still giving it just 3 stars though because of the issues I had previously, plus I’m not a huge fan of having to basically forcefully pry my phone out of the cradle when I get out of my car. That, added with the fact that I have to remember to try and take it out BEFORE I turn off my vehicle, so that the cradle resets. Still a bit annoying overall, but definitely a better experience with the new phone and case. So I’d say just be cautious with this product.

Overall good product for the car to hold cell phone .

Everything you wanted in a phone holder for your truck or car. Definitely holds up to its standards and would recommend.

Just what I needed.

Charges extremely slow. I might return. The battery doesn't seem to go down when using GPS but it definitely isn't charging enough to move the percentage charged up. I have an iphone 12 plus with apple silicon case

It was great in the first couple of months but then the grip seemingly broke and it would no longer support the phone. For anyone looking for a car charger I've since moved onto Mous and have yet to have any issues, and is in a similar price range.
