This is a beautiful watch, especially for the price. It might be a little large for petite ladies. I am a large lady, and it looks good on my arm pushed up as a bracelet. The mother of pearl face and the crystals really set the appearance off, and it has not lost a second since it arrived yesterday. Another more practical plus of its size is that the wearer has no trouble seeing the dial. The thing I like least about it is the way it fastens. It is one of those loop and fasten catches that has to be fastened hard, which is difficult for arthritic hands. On the other hand, no pun intended, you know it is secure when it is fastened! So, I recommend for large arm to be worn as bracelet watch. I am not sure links can be removed. I would think so, but hesitate to say for sure.

After adding a new battery , I took it home to let it run. After about 3 hours, the watch stopped. I returned the watch.Thanks for your concern.
