The tape gun is good quality and the tape holds really well, it has saved me so much time now I don't need to sit and trim double sided tape and pull the back off it on my projects. I have taken a star off because I don't find it easy to load my husband has to do it for me as whenever I try it doesn't work properly and the instructions aren't the best for reloading. Also part of the reason I witheld a star is that I was actually shocked how difficult it is to find refills in the UK and that they are priced extortionately when you do find them, another couple of pounds would buy you a new gun. Apart from that it is really good, its very sturdy, my cats have knocked it off my desk countless times and its never broken or cracked, in fact theres bearly a scratch on it. The price and availability of refills in the UK is the only real problem I have with this item (it is called Scotch Tape after all.... why is it I can only seem to get it from US sellers or pay £5 extra for Create and Craft to deliver it to me?)

I'm updating my review and downgrading this product. I've replaced the tape several times, but this time I've had issues. The tape wanted to go on the spool the wrong way - I now see why another reviewer said it was wound with the glue on the wrong side, I suspect they had the same issue as me - it didn't want to go on the spool in the right direction. I had to force it on.Secondly the glue keeps splitting off before it gets to the roller. You can see from my pictures what I mean. (These were taken before I managed to force the spool on in the correct way - but it is still an issue when it is loaded correctly). It works for a little while and then the glue splits off again. I'm not sure if these are old reels. It appears that the product may be discontinued, so perhaps this is why? I've wasted a lot of tape because of this separation issue and I can't rely on it to lay down nicely on my archival print projects.The second downgrade is because this tape is so expensive and hard to get hold of. I shall be ditching my dispenser once this tape is used up.

Very good price. Took 2 weeks to arrive as they were coming from the USA but I was more than happy to wait as they are hard to find in the UK at an affordable price. Great product - been using this for years for acid free placing of photos in albums and making cards.

This tape is useful in so many ways. Obviously having purchased the Tape Glider I needed to have a supply of the tape over and above that which came with the Glider. (two rioles). I have successfully used the Glider and as said regarding it can recommend it to any body into paper craft or just needing to get ready for Christmas or some other event.
