I have used this now for a couple of years - cleaned numerous patios, cars, paths, walls - you name it.. I used to own a rather bulkier K5 one that eventually stopped working - probably through my not looking after it. I bought this smaller but still wheeled K4 compact and actually I find it better. Also I could use my old attachments from the previous one.. The end with the triangular tip (dirt blaster?) is brilliant - rather too much so as I have some pine decking in part of the patio and after one clean it got quite damaged. But this is brilliant and if you look after it I think will last many years.

Happy with this pressure washer, does the job. Only negatives are the power lead that VERY badly kinks when trying to roll it up to store on the washer and the narrow hose that connects the lance, which also keeps kinking, making life awkward as you try to move around the car when cleaning; would also help if that hose was longer, as at least it could then reach around the full length of a car (mine's an Audi RS5, so not a huge car really). Overall quality is cheap, but just on the right side of OK. Nothing special really... I've had mine a year now, used it weekly and it hasn't packed up or leaked.It would get 4 stars from me if these massively annoying issues were sorted out and they stopped penny pinching with the build quality. I'd happily pay more for a better quality product and so would many others I imagine. Let's hope the manufacturer reads these reviews. Some hope...

Our water supply is fed from a spring which occasionally dries up in the summer. We do, however, have a stream which runs through our property. I was looking for a pressure washer which could draw water from the stream although the K4 specs say it will only draw 50CM and the stream is about a metre below the ground.Luckily, it works perfectly.I used a hose pipe and fitted a non return valve, filter and weight to the end, to keep it all below the surface of the stream.I bled the whole thing by connecting it to a tap and running the washer till all the air was expelled, disconnected the hose from the tap and dropped it in the stream.It worked faultlesly.

Avoid this pressure washer like this plague! This is the second k4 I have had as the first one only last 6 weeks and was replaced but now I'm just out of my warranty and the thing has packed in. I opted for this k4 thinking that as it's not the base model and as I only use it for washing the car once a week it would last a few years but no. After just 15 months it has packed in and after spending over £100 recently on accessories for it! Really poor quality I'll avoid any Karcher product in future.

for about a year I was really happy with this pressure washer, using it for a car clean once every two weeks. About a year later it decided to leak internally dropping the pressure output and soaking anyone within 2m while in use. It had never been kept outside the house or submitted to anything close to freezing temperatures.Due to being out of warranty I figured I'd fix it myself. Now the leak has been stopped but it doesnt work correctly as it used to anyway so I will be replacing with another (much cheaper and more reputable) brand. For the price you pay plus a premium on all accessories you'd expect them to be built to last, they aren't.I wish I had done some more research before buying and got the other brand in the first place. Luckily they sell an adapter which means I can use all my karcher accessories with the new brand, so at least I'm only £150 out of pocket and not £300.
