Amazing resource for Ayurveda cooking
A must have for anyone interested in Ayurveda cooking. I love this cookbook. Every recipe I've made to date is delicious. There is a bit of overlap with some recipes found in "The Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook: A Seasonal Guide to Eating and Living Well" (which I also own) , but I just consider those as reminders of basic ayurveda principles and recipes I should pay attention to. I love how this cookbook works like a troubleshooting guide. You feeling like [insert not-so-great feeling here]? Here are some things to eat to make you feel better. Awesome awesome cookbook. Many thanks to Ms. O'Donnell for making Ayurveda cooking easy and accessible.

Delicious, Easy, Healing Ayurvedic Recipes and So Much More!
I received this beautiful gift for Christmas and I have wanted to write a review for some time. Author Kate O'Donnell has put together much more than a delicious cookbook. I have learned so much and am much more intune with my body thanks to her knowledge of ayurveda that she shares. Over this last year I have incorporated into my life many of her suggestions. I feel lighter, happier more balanced. I have always eaten healthy but still had some significant, nagging health issues not knowing what more could I do. Well just at the perfect time I ran across this book. Finally, after many years, this is what I needed. A cookbook that I received at the same time "Eat feel fresh" by Sahara Rose Ketabi is also filled with Ayurvedic recipes and information. I have found these two books compliment each other. If you are interested in ayurveda I can't recommend enough these two books. And they are beautiful as well!

Delicious and so satisfying!
Just got my cookbook today and I like it even better than Kate's seasonal cookbook, which I have also really enjoyed. I made the ginger carrot muffins this afternoon and they are amazing. One of those plus some fresh sauteed asparagus is going to be dinner! The cookbook couldn't have arrived on a better day since I was looking for a dietary pick-me-up anyway to get back on a healthy, mindful eating track. I am really looking forward to picking up a couple of things at the store tomorrow to make the date pear morning kichari to kick off her "three-day reboot mind cleanse." In addition to this book, I also bought a Kindle copy of Thich Nhat Hanh's How to Eat. Spring just seems like the time for new beginnings and after a long, cold winter indoors I am ready for a fresh start. These two inspiring resources should make for a perfect "pairing."
