Great quality, looks like the picture
I can see how it is more difficult for an adult to not rip it getting in. Has a white powder in the inside and smeltLike plastic but just soaked in water and soap which took away the smell. Works great for kids to

Far better than I expected!
Yes, it is thin and flimsy and feels like a strong wind would tear it in two, but it is really quite sturdy and strong. I also like that it looks like a second skin. My son complained that it smelled "weird" and has been wearing it to get used to it. I have to admit it. It scares me looking at him in it. Not that I am afraid of Freddy Krueger in particular, just that it is a scary looking mask. I cannot not say for sure that it is THE BEST mask out there as I have not seen all of them, but it was reasonably priced and fits extremely well and looks scary as anything. What more could you ask for?***Post Halloween Update***My son thought the mask was great. It fit him fine and he looked pretty scary he also got a lot of compliments on his costume. The only downside is that by the end of the night he was calling himself "Sweaty Krueger" because the mask got pretty hot. Luckily, the end of October is pretty cool here but he was still a little overheated. I imagine that is probably a problem with most latex masks...

Great cheap Freddy mask with a neck split prone to tears
For its price (I got if for £10) this is a great Freddy mask. I searched through a lot of online stores for a good Freddy mask that wouldn't cost too much -- I didn't want to spend too much on a mask I would wear only once a year. Most of the cheap masks make Freddy look unrecognizable and seem to be really generic. However, this mask looks the part. The latex used in this mask is very very thin (I read the Amazon-reviews but was surprised just how thin the latex is) but it seems sturdy and fits well on an adult male head. It does get a little hard to breathe with the mask on so you might want to modify the mouth a bit if possible. However, the biggest problem with this mask is the split neck part which is prone to tears. I actually received this mask today and there is already a small tear on the top of the split. I put a small piece of tape around and over the tear to prevent it from tearing up more.FYI, I also got the hat (the brown version with burn holes) and they do make it big enough to fit even larger heads with the mask on. The hat is awesome!UPDATE: I originally had this mask at 3/5 stars. However, after using this mask with other Freddy props and taking pictures of myself, I have to give this mask 5/5. In my photos it looks like I went to a Hollywood make-up artist who transformed me into Freddy. Moreover, it does look like Robert Englund as Freddy. The guy in the product photo might actually be a child as the eyeholes don't show that much skin when I have the mask on, just my eyes. I do have to mention that I cut the mouth off the mask as it's the only part of the mask that doesn't look good. Moreover, it's a lot easier to breath and obviously to drink that way. Again, as least in pictures it does look like the mask integrated with my mouth. So while there might be issues with durability (the tape fix does work and I highly advise reinforcing any areas of the mask that are prone to tears like the top of the neck split and mouth corners if you cut the mouth off), this is a fantastic mask -- especially if you can get it under £20.
