Amazing
I loved this book that finally gave us an insight into the live of one of my all time favourite actresses. I cried though while reading about her death. She will forever remain in our hearts.

A very good book. Interesting information. But too many difficult to remember Indian names made it for me a mess)))).

A beautiful book that consoled our hearts in great tragedy!
For millions of ardent Sridevi fans, her totally unexpected and untimely death left us in utter grief! The fact that a belated National Award was bestowed posthumously and no great document of her singular life and cinematic conquests existed was shocking. Sathyarth's book came forth as a loving journal of her meteoric rise, a celebration of her achievement in film, a sprinkling of tributes from her costars and playback singers and a record of the decades she ruled and the personal triumphs and tragedies. The ending brought tears to my eyes. My only wish is that the author would have met Sri in person and investigated her personality in-depth instead of reportage on what magazines wrote or others opined. But despite this one shortcoming, the book is a melody which transcends our inconsolable loss by reminding us of how blessed we were to witness her on screen and how her legacy will endure forever. For this joy and comfort, I will embrace the author and his endeavour with gratitude.
