Does it cut through .5mm eva foam sheet?

I don't know but because it is foam and if you were to cut it twice with a deep setting it should do it for your. Call customer service and ask them. They will tell you. I love my scan and cut and I even purchased the new Pazzles and I am thinking about sending it back. I have been cutting for a long time with machines and I love my ScanNCut!

Compatible with brother cm 350 machine ?

The standard blade I believe is compatible between machines but if it is the DX Auto Blade it can not be used in 350 machines. It is milled strictly for the DX.

is this compatible with the sdx230D?

Yes, the standard cut blade is compatible with the Brother SDX230D.

Will this blade cut a vinyl record?

While I dont know how thick your record is, if its the normal 45 or 33 1/3rpm record I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT. Tag-board, Poster board, scrapbooking papers, cotton-like fabrics are all I have ever cut. Tag-board is difficult due to thickness.
