I bought this one and the Spigen Pros The case has a slightly rough texture on the sides, sort of an anti slip. The camera hole protrudes more than the Spigen's and the corner bumps are bigger too, hence more protection It's cheaper than the Spigen Cons Thinner and not as sturdy and snug fitting as the Spigen's The Spigen's design looks better and fancier

I bought this at the same time as a redmi note 7, not realizing that they ship a case in the box. This case is a bit stiffer and slightly more substantial than the included default case. Not sure if it's a huge improvement over a supplied one. Works fine with after market tempered glass screen protectors.

Because the Redmi Note 7 is gorgeous you'll be tempted not to cover it all. Until you drop and break it and cry. So this is a reasonably priced cover. Get it. Just know I wish it was a teeny weenie bit tighter. It's not loose but most covers I have require some effort to remove. This is easier... IF that is a problem. Not sure it is. Bonus points that the manufacturer made the plastic clear enough to see the phone's lovely backside. UPDATE -- I'm reading some reviewers of this cover trashing it. But they're not being specific. One calls it garbage. One says its the worst case they've ever seen. Really? The one Xiaomi provides is half as think and doesn't protect the camera at all, whereas this case is thick and protects the camera bump. Methinks these are phone reviews written by competitors. Ignore them. This company offers free returns at the moment.

The case does everything it's supposed to and more. Each button works flawlessly and every inch is suited just right. The camera is protected and the buttons are as well. Everything just works together and the transparency of it makes the phone shine with such radiance it's incredible. 5 out of 5 stars any, and everyday.

This case fits perfectly, and protects the phone just as I expect it to. I'm not going to intentionally drop my phone, but I imagine the case should prevent damage from a 2 foot accidental drop. From 3 feet it'll likely reduce damage, and if you drop your phone from higher than that...then you're just negligent.
