Enjoyable
I enjoyed every page of this book. I finished it in no time, but was hoping that the story would never end.

Great read
Terrifically written and engaging journey from the state of Oregon to Patagonia. The journey is a journey within as well as a travel memoir.

Hard pass
The inner monologue of a boring white male influencer. It is so quintessentially whiny-millennial it’s hard to read through your own cringe. Dude, there’s only so much you can brag about making it through tough weather on a bike trip. This book summarized is basically this: imagine a soft gay sheltered American Christian who grew up wealthy and privileged with lots of friends love and acceptance, who had never gone on a real adventure in his life but decided to write a book about his first ever trip and desperately tries to make it sound interesting. He uses google maps and sleeps in hostels. He eats at restaurants and stays with host families for free. It’s marketed as a rugged adventure, and clearly to someone who has faced zero adversity, grew up in the worlds wealthiest country, and whose biggest problem is questioning his religious brain-washing - maybe it is. To him.I personally found this book wildly unrelatable and would’ve probably changed the subject if I met him in real life and he started talking about this story, his Instagram account, or how he’s not sure if the bible is real. I’ve spent almost an equal amount of time not recommending this book as I did reading it..
