Good kit.
Good points first. It's a well made head lamp. I upgraded from my h7. 2r to get a longer battery life and so far it hasn't disappointed. I use this lamp for work(vehicle recovery) and the flood light works a treat casting very little shadow. Now the niggles. The power settings seem more awkward than my old 7? The 7 was click, click and that gave simple power levels but the 10's smart power seems a bit weird, maybe I'll get used to it in time. Second point.. The battery pack for anyone needing to lay flat on their back is very uncomfortable unless you position it in the crook of your neck! It is quite a bulky pack however, when it's on and adjusted correctly its feels balanced. On full brightness it didn't seem a massive hike in power from my 7's but at more than twice the lumens it must be(I've only tried it in Street lit areas so far). Third point... Price! It does seem a tad pricey for the spec. There are lamps out there for much less giving good brightness and offering the colour led options as standard. I'm a lenser fan and the 7 year warranty seems to be the kia of head lights but let's hope I don't need it. All in all then, it works well although fiddly to operate wearing gloves, pricey but well made, excellent flood lighting and the lowest setting is great for doing paperwork, close up work. The plastic construction seems strong and the red rear light in fairness is all but useless. I have a ten year old unilite and that rear lamp is fantastic. So, it's more for hikers, campers and work use so I wouldn't recommend it for runners. The filters work but not essential for my purposes. Sort the power switch fiddly Ness and it's 10/10!

Trail Running 🔝🔝🔝🔝

Great build quality
I bought this for dog walking as i walk on the moors at 6am every day so needed a decent head tourch as where i walk is very uneven and very dark. I had an old lenser i paid around £170 and its been fantastic, its just getting a bit tired now so decided to give the mh10 a go off the back of other reviews. The build quality is excellent as all lensers are BUT i am really disappointed with the light out put some reviews will tell you, you get a 150m range on high current its more like 40-50m. Also the angle adjustment is either down or almost direct into you face. The strap adjustment isnt great either as mine seems to loosen after a short while. If your going for a ledlenser go big or dont bother as the cheaper ones dont perform.

Just didn't work
Upon arrival, clear that box had been previously opened, missing parts, head torch clearly worn by someone with dry skin as it was all over the headband! Also it was late to arrive. Returned immediately. As an owner of several LED Lenser products, I suspect that the product itself is generally very good, but not the item I received

Comfortable and bright headlamp
So bright and variable setting once you get button clicks right!! Essential for working in loft or under stairs with poor light and even walking dog at night but care not to shine in eyes it really is blinding. Initial charge fiddly to get wires sorted and need to store safely for future.Up to 1 hr use a day on medium and still on first charge after 2 weeks dog walk. Excellent company aftercare.
