T-Rex tape is the only tape I use for air conditioning, but needs to be replaced periodically
This tape is STRONG. It resists hot currents of air and pressure pretty well. You could technically use it to block a window off. Prepare to replace it periodically, I wouldn't say too often, but extreme heat can mess with it. I also use it for packaging- it's not as elegant as transparent tape, sure, and if you really want transparent tape I'm sure they make an equivalent version of that. But it gets the job done and doesn't disappoint.

Strong and long lasting tape
If you need a very strong tape that sticks a lot, this is the tape to buy! It is even so sticky that if you try to take it off, you should wear gloves. I didn't and it torn out a bit of my skin on my fingers. This tape is meant to be installed and kept in place for a long time. Not torn off soon after use.

This tape sticks to wood like crazy
Bought this to finish off some edges on some engineered board and it works great. Great adhesion and thickness. No chance of any splinters or dust from the board coming off.
