I bought alarm clock as it is a Braun, a well known and trusted brand. In fact I bough two white and one black - 3 in all. All of them didn’t keep time… it had one job to do!!!! I tried a different battery in them all, and one now keeps time (so far) but one is stuck at 7:10 - the second hand moves and the light works fine, the batteries are brand new quality alkaline batteries… but the clock is only right twice a day! Buy these only if you don’t care what the time is, and need an excuse for not getting somewhere on time! Otherwise avoid!!!

Realised my old Braun alarm clock, which occasionally failed to go off in the morning, was over 30 years old. Time for a new one!Going for Braun again was a no brainer really, after such a length of service.This one starts really quietly, then gets a little louder, then goes ballistic, beeping more frequently. I find it amusing.Happy with my new alarm clock.

Really lovely colours and looks wonderful on my bedside table! Would definitely recommend this. It also has a very quiet, basically silent tick. Basically becuase if you put your ear right up to it and listen REALLY hard, you can hear a tiny little noise! ;)

This clock has inaccurate time keeping and the alarm does not go off at the right time I set it for. It is usually 20 miniutes to early when I’ve set it on the hour or at any other time. Certainly not worth the price and the light is a glimmering lamp at the bottom of click which hardly shows up! The alarm tones are low and can hardly hear from next door room

An excellent alarm clock and very pretty. Easy to set, keeps good time and the alarm is loud enough to wake you but not loud enough to wake the neighbourhood. If I was going to be very picky, the hands are hard to see if you wake in the middle of the night but there's a light function if you really feel the need to know. I'm very pleased with this little clock.

Quality feel and easy to use,, the brightness of the night light is the only thing that lets it down.A low battery indicator would be a useful addition,on a single AA battery clock. waiting for it to let me down and sleep in for work.
