This will not help speed. Running this with two batteries will double your runtime.

Will they work with latrax batterys

My Latrax batteries have the same connector as the Traxxas batteries. I have a couple of the 7.2 v 120mah NiMH batteries of both. I use them interchangeably. Looks to be the same battery with a different label.

Can I use this for non traxxas batteries (venom)?

This connector is to hook up batteries in parallel, and can have the same effect on any batteries. But this has the connector for Traxxas batteries. You can convert to anything I have changed mine to the deans batteries and just use adapters. Can you send a pic of what your trying to use

Can you connect a Lipo and normal ones at the same time?

If you mean a NiCd or NiMh with the LiPo, the answer is a big NO!
