I bought this to do a shadow box for my sons dog that passed away. The color is very pretty. However the frame that holds the glass was already falling apart when it arrived. By the time I started putting the stuff inside which only included a few pictures and her ashes, the frame completely broke. I had to glue it all back together.

Wonderful product. I bought two to make 'Memory Boxes' of my late father for my two nephews as college graduation gifts. Well made, well packed and complete with hanging hardware & push pins. I highly recommend.

I bought to make a memorial for my cat that just died. I used the 11x11 size. I'm glad I got one a little bigger. I love the way it turned out. The frame looks really nice with his little blue urn.

Seems sturdy, it is easy to add items and use the included pushpins.

I have purchased several of these in differing sizes over the last few years to display my daughter's cross-country and track medals. I love the versatility and how easy they are to use. Being that they open from the front its super simple to open and make changes as needed. The pins work great although i had to purchase more for the shadow boxes' intended use. They have definitely been well worth the purchase to keep the medals organized and then displayed at her grad party!

I love this shadow box. It’s easy to open and comes with 6 round push pins. I made one to display my 3 dogs that have all passed ant there was lots of room for everything. Love it. Bit on the pricy side but worth it.

Glad I double-checked the listing before my review, rustic white means it looked like that on purpose, probably.Came with a thin, off-white color you could see the wood through. You can see in my pic where my painting (on the top) turns to the frame. That's just 1 coat of acrylic titanium white I'm using, btw. So far looks like it'll be 3 or 4 coats to make it bright white.But that's OK, it came with a few minor dings I'd have needed to fill anyway.Otherwise, these are nice little shadow boxes.

It is a nice product but I didn't received the pins and nails.
