Have you ever watched "The Curse of Oak Island"?It's essential viewing in our house and each episode is absorbed and discussed at length. The Lagina brothers are convinced there's treasure down there and are determined to unearth it! It must have cost them millions so far but, with a little help from TV fees, they throw everything at it and look forward to the day where they can don the robes of The Knights Templar and parade their new found treasure thorugh the streets of Nova Scotia.As an aside.. in the intro is the line "...to date six men have died trying to solve the mystery, and according to legend, one more will have to die before the treasure can be found." to which I like to add "Vote now!" - but that has nothing whatsoever to do with this.Where was I?Oh, yes, why on earth am I going on about Oak Island?Well, the multimillionaire Lagina brothers (Marty absolutely, not so sure about Rick) are arguably the most prominent treasure hunters (in the old romantic sense) around at present and, if you watch carefully, you will seet that the Root Slayer Shovel is their choice of weapon for digging in the tougher areas of Oak Island. Best that money can buy? I'm guessing that whilst tending to the daisies in the window box wouldn't necessarily require a Root Slayer Trowel, I'm sure there's one somewhere nearby as you never know when it may come in handy.Serious tool for serious troweling and a proud member of the gardening tool bag.

Seems to work well compared to a normal trowel and compliments my root slayer spade well especially for digging out pots. However; I ordered this on the 31st August and it didn’t arrive until the 14th September. On the 12th and 13th I received delivery notifications for the said days but it still didn’t arrive until the 14th. Amazon are renowned for fast, efficient and convenient service and this supplier compromises this ethos. Delivery times are way to long and had it not arrived on the 14th I would have cancelled the order. Likewise, if I had known it would have taken so long to arrive I would never have ordered it. Good product but beware exceptionally long delivery times.

Using this little shovel makes light work of weeding I’m no gardener but even I rave about it well worth the money

I have the full sized spade version of this item but find the trowel absolutely perfect for tight spots. Would thoroughly recommend this item.

This is a great tool; able to cut into roots. If you're needing to get at a large plant with very deep and established roots, you may want to get the root slayer shovel. I have that also and it works great!

ich hatte mir diese Handschaufel mit Sägefunktion bestellt um festes Wurzelwerk aus großen Kübeln herauszuschneiden. Dazu ist sie sehr gut geeignet! Sie ist hochwertig verarbeitet und sehr robust. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, denn ich habe dieses Gerät erst seit 2 Wochen im Gebrauch. Also für kleinere Arbeitsflächen wie Kübel und Tpfe ist diese Handschaufel sehr gut geeignet.
