I don’t notice any bad taste. My only con was that the gold was more towards a orange-yellow gold and seems to be more glittery than just a smooth yellow gold color that I was looking for. But, had this been the correct color that I personally wanted I would be pretty happy with it. I’m new to decorating baked goods so I’m still learning, but these were not bad at all. I was able to decorate dried royal icing with it and it was easy to use. It went on smoothly and colored the cookies beautifully. The silver arrived in perfect condition. The gold container’s inside paper cover was sort of loose so some were all over the little baggie they came in. This didn’t hurt the product at all. It was simple to clean up any spilled dust too. I used vodka to mix into a little bit of the dust to decorate the cookies with.

Exactly what I was looking for for my wedding reception!! I wanted to make sparkling punch, and ordered this duo. I used silver in one punch and gold in the other. It was gorgeous!!! Definitely no flavor to it, it hardly took any to glitter up a huge spigot beverage dispenser, and it was easy to clean up - came off dishes with just a normal wash. The only downside, but this is just how all luster dust is - if you use it for drinks like I did, just know that it will start to settle to the bottom. We just stirred the punch every 20-30 minutes and it was totally fine.

I was not sure about purchasing this product because of some of the reviews I read. According to some customers that little containers were not properly sealed and the fine dust was everywhere. Thankfully I did make the purchase and my were sealed just fine. Maybe the company read the reviews and fixed the problem. I can say enough about how happy I am about using the gold dust. I used it to decorate a cake and the color is BEAUTIFUL. I used Egyptian gold before and thought was pretty but this one is MUCH BETTER. I haven't used my silver color one yet but I'm really hoping is as good as the gold one. Thank you!

When the product arrived, I was a bit surprised the seal on the gold dust came off on its own after I opened the cap, while the silver dust seal needed to be pulled open. Just as another reviewer said (may 2020 review), the gold dust was a little more than half of the silver dust. I asked the seller who responded within a day that the bottles can be sealed differently and purpose is to protect from transportation, and the degree of dust is different so the silver dust is more fluffy and appear more. But if we weigh it, it should be the same, 7g each. Not looking forward to weighing since the dust will fly everywhere. Make sure to keep the seal underneath the cap, I threw mine away for the gold and now every time I open the cap, dust is flying everywhere.I like the gold color a lot, just need a little to get the color needed to paint. I haven’t try the silver yet.

I used this product for the first time on my Nordic Ware stamped cookies and am thrilled with the ease of use and quality. The adding vodka to the powder made for a very easy mix and application. And best of all, it was completely flavorless. I also applied left over “paint” directly on some cake and was equally impressed with result. Now my “Crown” bundt pan cakes will have accented shimmer to add to the “glory”. I’ll definitely buy this product in the future. I would love to see this in a Christmas red and green for my Christmas holiday cookie baking.

They worked out perfectly for cupcake decorations. I bought them to make Justice League themed snacks and they delivered. They had no flavor and were perfectly glittery. A little goes a long way.

I was a bit concerned when I first opened the box because the containers are so small, but after trying it out for the first time I realized you don't need to use very much product to get a good result. And it looks absolutely stunning on chocolate. I just brushed it on dry and it goes on silky smooth like paint. I couldn't stop staring at it. I've used other brands and the texture was very dusty and dry and didn't stick as well. 10/10 highly recommend.

I found both the silver and gold edible dust to have vibrant color and good coverage. I brushed steamed gum paste flowers with the luster dust and was very satisfied with the outcome!

I ordered the gold and pearl luster dusts and I am so happy with the product. I used them to paint accents on a unicorn cake. The dust is so fine and painted on beautifully, both dry and mixed with a drop of gin to make a paint. The dry dust was easy to control with a tight bristle brush and left more of a sheen than a solid cover. The gold mixed with alcohol was also easy to control and dried beautifully. A lot of people mentioned being disappointed about the gold arriving only half full, but I'm not really understanding those concerns as the ad clearly indicates they're sold by weight and the gold is much more dense and heavy than the pearl. I weighed both jars when they arrived and they both weighed the same. The jars are small but a little goes an awfully long way and I think I will be using these for at least a year in my baking. I will definitely buy them again when I run out, they really are some of the prettiest edible accents I've ever seen.

These have such a beautiful metalic sheen with no flavor or smell and were perfect for my cake. It can be applied dry as shown on the chocolate covered cherries on top of my cake, or mixed with a bit of vodka and painted on as shown on the picture frame and dancers. I even used some mixed with vodka in my airbrush to add a gold sheen to the hazelnuts on the sides of my cake (no issues with clogging at all). I am very pleased with how well these luster dusts perform

Good is shiny and works well however jar was only 3/4 full and the silver was full to the top. But did the job well.
